Crochet Holiday Nose Warmers

Keep your nose (and little ones too!) warm this holiday with these cute crochet nose warmers! Silly and practical they are great for outdoor fun and sure to get a laugh! Would make a great stocking stuffer! The pattern is written for adult and child sizes.

If you need a different size just add more or less chains to the part that goes over the ear. The nose warmer measures approx. 2 3/4″.

Grab some medium worsted weight yarn in the colors you like and size G crochet hook and let’s get started!

Medium worsted weight yarn in colors needed for which nose you choose
G hook
Blunt needle to weave in ends


Abbreviations:

st(s)= stitch(es)
hk- hook
sc- single crochet
hdc- half double crochet
dc- double crochet
sc2tog- single crochet two together

Rudolph Nose:

With red yarn make a magic circle, ch 2

Row 1: Hdc 10 sts in circle

**Continue to work in the round**

Row 2: 2 dc in each st around (20).

Row 3: Dc in each st around (20).

Hdc in next st, sc in next and sl st in next st (switch to brown yarn) and ch 42 (adult), 32 (child) sts. Sl st back in same st. Fasten off leaving a long tail to weave in.

Count 9 sts over and pick up a stitch in the 10th st (with brown yarn). Ch 42 and sl back in same st. Fasten off leaving a long tail to weave in.

Snowman Carrot Nose:

With orange yarn make a magic circle, ch 1

Row 1: Sc 3 into circle

**Continue to work in the round**

Row 2: 2 sc in each st (6).

Row 3: Sc in each st around (6).

Row 4: *2 sc in first, sc in next*, repeat from * around (9).

Row 5: Sc in each st around (9).

Row 6: *2 sc in first, sc in next*, repeat from * around (14).

Row 7: Sc in each st around (14).

Row 8: *2 sc in first, sc in next*, repeat from * around (21).

Row 9: Sc in each st around (21).

Sl st in next st, switching to white yarn and ch 42 (adult), 32 (child) sts. Sl st back in same st. Fasten off leaving a long tail to weave in.

Count 10 sts over and pick up a stitch (with white yarn) in the 11th st. Ch 42 (adult), 32 (child) and sl back in same st. Fasten off leaving a long tail to weave in.

Christmas Tree Nose

Ch 9

Row 1: Sc in first ch from the hk and each ch to end (8).

Row 2: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc next 4 sts, sc2tog (6).

Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each st across (6).

Row 4: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc next 2 sts, sc2tog (4).

Row 5: Ch 1, sc in each st across (4).

Row 6: Ch 1, sc2tog, twice (2).

Row 7: Ch 1, sc next 2 sts (2).

Row 8: Ch 1, sc2tog.

Continue to sc evenly around the tree with 2 sc in each corner. Sl st in last st.

Ch 2, in black loops only, dc in each st around. Sl st in last st and fasten off.

Pick up a stitch in the middle of the side and ch 42 (adult), 32 (child). Fasten off leaving a long tail to weave in. Repeat on the other side.

Star: Cut a long piece of yellow yarn and embroider a star on top of the tree. Fasten off on the inside.
