So what's anyone making for dinner tonight? I just started a crockpot of vegetable barley soup that should last me several days.

1/2 bag frozen mixed vegetables
1/4 bag frozen cut broccoli
1 cut up celery stalk
1/2 chopped onion
Handful dry barley
1 can vegetable broth
Garlic powder, pinch chili powder, dry basil
Water to cover
Cook on high for 4 hours or until barley is done

I'll have some of yesterdays homemade bread with it

oh my word, that sounds like something I ought to make this week and use rest of my Pacific Soup Starter.....and try out my new one person crockpot
