Austrian Potato Salad

Yield: 6 servings
Salad:
3 c fresh sweet cherries, pitted, halved
2 lb small red-skinned potatoes, quartered, cooked, drained
2 c shredded red cabbage
2 c shredded green cabbage
1/4 c red onion diced
1/4 c parsley chopped
1/2 c raisins
1/2 c chopped walnuts
Dressing:
1/4 c corn oil
1/4 c cider vinegar
1/4 cup sour cream
1 TB sugar
1 TB poppy seeds
1/2 ts grated lemon peel
1/2 ts ground pepper
1/2 ts ground cinnamon
1/2 ts salt
Place salad ingredients in a large bowl.
Whisk together dressing ingredients for dressing until well blended.
Toss with salad ingredients to coat.
