Mascarpone and Mustard Spread

1/2 cup (125 ml) mascarpone
1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped fresh herbs such as
chives, parsley, basil, or chervil
3 Tbs (45 ml) Dijon mustard
1 Tbs (15 ml) whole-grain mustard (optional)
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly in a small bowl.
Serve as a spread or dip with toast, chips, or raw fresh
vegetables. Makes about 1 cup (250 ml).
